Fuji Finepix F200EXR


(update 090426, 15:00h local time) When you enlarge the picture below, on the "SUPER CCD EXR" label you can see the special design of the sensor - photosites arranged in a pattern similar to a honey comb; I have to strain my eyes to see it on the camera-label itself.

New digicam arrived: Fuji Finepix F200EXR. Image quality is very good. The higher Dynamic Range seems to be effective. Noise is well controlled up to iso 400, iso 800 is still good. The F200 doesn't have various manual settings or raw as my other camera, the Finepix S100FS, but out of camera shots compare very favourably, with detail slightly (very slightly) inferior.
