Padova - university

Padova has one of the oldest universities in the world - I don't remember now the exact year of its foundation, maybe it's about 800 years old (go to Google to verify).
In this image (as well as in the following images) you see an old lecture hall: Aula Ippolito Nievo

Vahrn/Varna (near Brixen/Bressanone)

In Vahrn (671 m a.s.l., about 3000 inhabitants) you can see some older buildings, not yet sacrificed to the general replacement that since the 1970thies changed greatly the appearance of villages in this region.

Hiking in Schalders/Scaleres (Brixen/Bressanone)

Ahhh, blackberries (before being eaten)!
You enter this little valley from Vahrn (near Brixen), it's very narrow and steep, the highest peaks reach about 2500 m asl.
This little and very charming lake is the Schrüttensee (about 2000 m asl)
