Bolzano - Eisack River
The Eisack/Isarco River in Bolzano, just after the Loreto bridge. Rapids on the one side (image above) - quiet like a pond on the other side (image below).
In between I caught this heron, a rare species to be seen in Bolzano.
In springtime you can observe here various families of ducks - female ducks with their ducklings at the first outings in the river, a veritable kinderstube for these tiny youngsters.

Bolzano/Bozen - Remembering the Old Theater
Exhibition on the Old Theater (more ...).
The old theater had a rather short life: opened in 1918 it fell in ruins after bombardements in WWII (1943)
